Guruji Idli: Ghee Dosa served here has a very authentic south Indian taste and a nice aroma of ghee. Dosas are crisp, thick as well as soft – quite like the way you get in Bangalore. Dosas and Idlis are served here with two types of chutneys, but without sambhar. Apart from ghee dosa, they also serve Idli, Butter Idli, Ghee Podi Idli, Ghee Sheera and filter coffee. We tried Butter Idli and liked it as well. Guruji Idli is a recent chain that has been taking Pune by storm. There are multiple outlets in Kothrud and Deccan. The style of idli and dosa indeed reminds you of the idlis and dosas you can get in Bangalore.
