Shabari is an old and iconic vegetarian restaurant located in the busy Jangli Maharaj Road in Pune known mainlt for its deliciious Maharashtrian dishes. We tried Kothimbir Vadi, Thalipeeth and Masala Bhaat and found Thalipeeth to be the best. There were 2 options in Thalipeeth – Tawa Thalipeeth and Thalipeeth (fried). We opted for the fried one and it turned out to be the right choice. Thalipeeth was thick and soft, yet very crisp from outside. It was served with white butter and curd.
