Vishal Chat Bhandar is a small stall at the busy Sai Chowk in Pimpri, famous for its chaat items, dal pakwaan and gulab jamun. Given its popularity, it is almost always crowded. Samosa Chaat is one of the most selling items in this joint.

A delightful mix of chole, spices and masalas with a fairly large samosa, this dish can get your stomach full just by itself. Samosa Chaat is served fresh with hot samosas dipped in spicy chole and a combination of sweet and sour chutney. The chaat is generously topped with round cut onions which adds a great crunch to the chaat. The overall dish is very tasty but can leave you feeling a bit spiced up at the end. Chole served is chickpeas and not matar/vattana/ragda and the taste is more north indian and sindhi rather than the typical puneri sweet taste. It pairs perfectly after that with a gulab jamun from Vishal Chaat House that is an ideal accompaniment to this dish.

The thela is open throughout the day, 7 days a week, from 10 AM to 9:30 pm.
