Neapolitan Pizza
Da Nonna’s Pizzeria is a small cosy place hidden in the bylanes of Deccan Gymkhana, serving authentic continental dishes. It is famous for its authentic Neapolitan pizza. Staff is knowledgeble and polite and service is good. We went at 7 pm just when the joint opens and few people were already there in the queue. This place gets very crowded in the weekends.
We tried their neapolitan pizza – half and half with two different toppings – On half was Nonna’s Yard (Bellpeppers, Olives, Onions , Mushrooms, Basil) and other half was Pesto Sauce with Sundried tomates, basil and crushed pistachios.On top of that we ordered additional burrata cheese which was fantastic but came at an additional cost of ~ 200 bucks. Crust had the right amount of crustiness, Toppings were fresh and overall favours were very well balanced. All pizzas made there are wood fired. Price of the dishes are on higher side, but taste is authentic !!
