Delhi Swad in Wakad is famous for their chole bhature and gulab jamun.

Unlike the name of the joint, Chole Bhature served here are not true Delhi style, but have a good distinct North Indian taste. The reason we say it is not true Delhi style is because of the masalas in the chole – it does not have the same taste that you can get in a Paharganj chholey like Sitaram Diwanchand or Radhe Shyam. The chole is well cooked, tangy and flavourful. Bhatures are big and fluffy. Chholey Bhature are served hot and with diced onions and pickle. Additionally, we also tried their aloo tikki chat, samosa and jalebi. Aloo Tikki chaat and samosa were just okay, but Jalebi was good (thick, crunchy and juicy). It was late afternoon and Jalebis were fresh and hot. Gulab Jamun is another favorite here and can be tried along with the bhature.

Delhi Swad also has some great combo offers on their items. You can try one of the combos to get a good discount as well as a taste of multiple dishes. The seating is outdoor mostly. You can consider it as a kind of a street food place with seating rather than a dining restaurant.
