Bread pattice (also called as bread pakoda in north india) is made by filling mashed potatoes inside bread slices and deep drying them after coating them with besan.

Bread pattice that we tasted at Bipin snacks was very crispy and soft with very flavourful potato filling inside. The potato filling inside was very similar to one inside batata vada – there was a hint of sweetness and it had typical puneri taste. Pattice was garnished with fresh coconut, diced oinion and coriander on top which enhanced the taste. We also tried poha-batata vada combo and found it to be equally good. The best thing about bipin snacks is that all items are served fresh and hot.
