Samosa outer cover is very khasta/crunchy, masala is spicy with lot of garam masala, bit of peas and paneer, green chillies, dhaniya and jeera flavour. It is served fresh and warm with two types of chutneys – green tangy pudina chutmey and sweet amchur chutney.

Saraswati Sweets (also operating as Saraswati Restaurant) is a popular, budget-friendly pure vegetarian sweet shop and casual diner located in the Mallital area of Nainital. It is highly regarded by locals and tourists alike for its traditional Indian desserts, street food, and quick service. There are two branches in Mallital - one in the upper main road which is the older joint and another in the lower main bazaar area. Service is a bit slow in the older branch while the newer branch has better interiors and faster service.
