Pancake
Located near Bhimtal (comes on the way while travelling from Haldwani to Bhimtal), iHeart Cafe is one of the iconic cafes which provides excellant European ambience and taste. Look no further if you are near Bhimtal and looking for coffee and snacks in a cosy & warm place. The cafe is a bit pricey, but the ambience and taste justifies the cost. We tried a number of dishes like grilled sandwich (veg as well as chicken), cheese omlette, toasted bread and liked them, but we loved pancakes the most. Pancakes are soft, fluffy with a hint of butter and are slightly sweet in taste. They are 3 layers of the cake which are golden brown and peppered with powdered sugar. Generous amount of maple syrup and butter is served along with pancakes and then there is a choice of different sauces which you can order on top. We took blueberry sauce and it was fabulous. The pancakes are so soft and mushy that they melt in the mouth as soon as you take a bite.

The wooden interiors and dim yellow lights give a feel of European cafe.There is outdoor seating in a beautiful garden setting as well. The cafe is a bit pricey, but the ambience and taste justifies the cost. Given its popularity, the cafe can get quite crowded during the weekends. There is another big outlet of iHearts cafe which has opened up on Haldwani-Nainital road. Please note that this cafe is closed on Wednesdays.
