Idli Wada Sambhar
Nestled in a quiet bylane of Baner, Idlicious is known for its simple and homely south indian food. Idlis serverd here are very soft and fluffy – neither too dry nor too dense. Wadas are crispy and soft, but not too oily. Wadas have some shredded onion inside. Sambhar is very unique – its sour and spicy with few drumstick pieces in it (which gives it unique taste). Unlike the ones that you get at most of the places in Pune, there is no sweetness in it – taste is more like what you get in Chennai. Cocounut chutney is fresh and flavourful. We also tried Rasam Wada and taste was very good.
Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to the portion size and ambience, but the taste justifies it.

Restaurant Description
Idlicious is a small south indian joint located in a quiet bylane in the busy Baner area. It is known for the simple, homely and authentic taste of south indian snacks. Sitting is indoor (4-5 tables only) as well as outdoor (10-12 tables). The place is quite popular and hence very crowded during peak hours (morning and weekends). Price of the dishes is on the higher side and service is a bit slow, but the taste overshadows all other shortcomings.
